Aiming at the current situation of self-service terminals, combined with the characteristics of pyroelectric infrared sensor and Linux operating system, this paper proposes the design and implementation of self-service terminal based on pyroelectric infrared sensor and Linux system. The terminal can add and improve functions according to the actual needs of residents; through the infrared sensor module of the human body, the intelligent switch of the display screen can be realized, and it can automatically enter the low energy consumption mode to save power during the period of infrequent use; in addition, the user interface is simple and easy to operate, Friendly to the elderly. After the terminals are reasonably distributed and placed, it can promote the improvement of the coverage and quality of regional public services, and can also collect relevant urban service usage information to assist the intelligent management and operation of relevant public services.
The self-service terminal system is mainly composed of four parts, including human body infrared sensor module, LCD touch display module, processor module, and communication module (see Figure 1). Other configurations include shield-type placement pavilions, solar cells, etc.
